CJ Lampwork: Oklahoma City, Central Oklahoma, United States; Hi, my name is Cheryl. I come from a family of Christians, artists, quilters, sewers, chefs, builders & fixers of stuff, writers, and sports & car enthusiasts. They have all influenced my life and my work. God has blessed me with an awesome family, friends and a great church family. Lampworking (making glass beads with a torch) is my favorite relaxation and creative vent. I am facinated by the depth of the colors that can be created in the glass. My other favorite venue is quilting. I get to help the ladies of my church in the quilting ministry. They make prayer quilts for those that are going through hard life ordeals or key milestones in their life. It's been a real blessing seeing how the quilts bring love and peace to one's life. I like to cook, share recipes, and have friends & family over for dinner. Favorite cuisines: Hawaiian, Asian, Italian, Mexican, seafood and BBQ....I know, that covers a lot!
